What’s more fun than putting your friend in The Official Bear suit and wandering around the woods? Not much.
A national forestry organization sent out a challenge to film a piece for Smokey Bear’s 75th birthday in 2019. I sat down with other creative minds at the Colorado State Forest Service and wrote the script and storyboard for this piece. Then we hit the woods for filming. As things sometimes go, another project came up. But given the planning I’d done, I was able to recruit a freelance video editor and hand this off to wrap up when I had to move to the next project. It was an easy, successful transition.
Next time I wanna crack inside the bear suit.
