Hunters of Eden Valley

If you ever get a chance to watch eagles hunt, don’t miss it. This story took me to the Wyoming plains to meet up with a gaggle of falconers and their birds. Falconers are extremely welcoming. But I didn’t understand the partnership between them and their birds until I saw it working firsthand. …And I vastly underestimated the sound of Dexter’s wings as he used all his effort to launch himself into the air from his arm perch next to me in the hunting line. These are two days of “work” that still stick with me.
